Save often is the official instruction on the itch.io Early Access page known-issues block. Beside it sit very slow ASYNC town and route loads on low-end PCs, battle hitching on low RAM or storage, no mobile builds, and mixed input devices clogging the UI. Player comments on that listing describe a Rustboro upstairs softlock, gym-battle freezes, ultrawide and DualSense misses, and Super Potion loops. Player bugs are never patch notes. Later-chunk save migration has no first-party answer. The table marks official versus player-reported in the severity column. Do not read the bottom four rows as patch notes.

Official known issues
The itch.io Early Access page known-issues block names slow async town and route loads on low-end PCs, battle hitching when RAM or storage is tight during swaps, XP or attacks, no mobile builds, mixed peripherals clogging the UI, and the instruction to save often. Those five rows are developer statements for Early Access 1.1.9. They are not ranked by severity in official copy. Save often applies to every machine, not only low-end PCs. No mobile builds is repeated in the July Q&A. If you hit a hitch, drop settings, free disk, and keep a fresh save before gyms.
very slow ASYNC is the official phrasing for town and route loads on low-end PCs. Battle hitching is named for low RAM or storage during swaps, XP or attacks. No mobile builds is a hard official no. Mixed input clogs the UI. Save often is the H1 because it is the instruction that applies to everyone. Meet the Windows requirements before you treat hitching as a unique crash.
Player reports are not patch notes
itch comments describe a save-corrupting softlock in a Rustboro upstairs room, battle freezes including Roxanne and later Slateport trainers, 21:9 ultrawide treated as 16:9 4K, DualSense pads not detected natively, and gym AI repeating Super Potions. Those reports have no first-party confirmation of cause or fix. This page will not turn them into a changelog. Report crashes on the Pokemon: Gamma Emerald Discord with Saved/Logs files. Later-chunk save migration remains unanswered in first-party copy; keep a 1.1.9 backup if you care about this file when a post-Mauville build appears.
Rustboro upstairs is described as a save-corrupting load loop. Roxanne / later Slateport fights are described as the last Pokémon not being sent. Ultrawide 21:9 is described as 16:9 4K. DualSense is described as undetected natively. Gym Super Potion loops are described as repeating AI heals. None of those comments are signed by UndreamedPanic as fixed or confirmed. Discord with Saved/Logs is the official inbox.
