THIS IS NOT THE EARLY ACCESS is the 15 August 2026 warning on the 2025 showcase demo page. The still-hosted showcase is itch Version 106 / Game Jolt 3.1.0. Current official remake files are itch Version 1.1.9 and Game Jolt 0.3.0, dated the same day. The timeline below holds six sealed records. Post-Mauville stays undated. Do not invent a next-chunk calendar. Six records: two 15 May 2025 demo labels, the 31 May hosted 106 / 3.1.0 pair, the 1 August date lock, the 15 August 1.1.9 / 0.3.0 pair, and undated post-Mauville.

The warning and the still-hosted demo

On EA launch day the developer posted THIS IS NOT THE EARLY ACCESS on the demo page: it is the wrong version and will not be patched. The still-hosted download is itch Version 106 dated 31 May 2025, about 1 GB; Game Jolt labels its demo package 3.1.0. A 15 May 2025 post names Demo v2.1.0.1. Official demo features include a new island, puzzles, Legendary Pokémon, a new OST and original animations. The story is a non-canon island between Hoenn and Sinnoh involving mercenaries and Team Magma. Keep demo facts on this historical side of the split.

The demo trailer still and the demo video on this page belong to 2025. Features named there — new island, puzzles, Legendaries, new OST, original animations — do not describe Littleroot to Mauville. Mercenaries and Team Magma are demo-story facts. ScreenRant’s 80 minutes / 52 Pokémon figures stay editorial. The warning post is dated 15 August 2026, the same calendar day as 1.1.9.

Version 1.1.9 and Game Jolt 0.3.0

The current itch.io Early Access page Early Access build is Version 1.1.9, dated 15 August 2026 @ 22:54 UTC, gamma-emerald-ea-windows.zip at 1.4 GB. Game Jolt GammaEmeraldEA publishes 0.3.0 the same day at 23:00 UTC. Official YouTube and Game Jolt published Early Access on 15 August 2026 at 15:00 UTC; the itch timestamp is later the same day. Those clocks describe one Windows remake slice from Littleroot to Mauville, not a second game. If your file picker still shows Version 106, you grabbed the showcase.

itch 22:54 UTC and Game Jolt 23:00 UTC are the same-day pair. YouTube and Game Jolt also used 15:00 UTC as the publish clock for the launch upload. Those three clocks do not invent a fourth build. 1.1.9 zip size is 1.4 GB. 0.3.0 rar size is 1,465,508,722 bytes. If your installer shows neither number, you are not on the current official pair.

Post-Mauville stays undated

The sixth record is the post-Mauville Hoenn chunk. Official next work names that map, more Pokémon / national dex, and localization. There is no official date. This timeline will not invent one. Localization is upcoming; no official non-English product title was found on first-party pages or regional store searches. Mega Evolution is not in that plan. Later-chunk save migration has no first-party answer. Keep 1.1.9 backups if you care about this file when a later chunk appears.

National dex and localization are named with the post-Mauville chunk. No date. No official localized title yet. Mega Evolution is not in that plan. Codes are not in that plan. This timeline row stays “No date published” until a first-party host prints a day. Do not take Insider Gaming or any blog date as a substitute for that missing official stamp.
